More than 1.2 million people live and work here at the crossroads of two of the nation’s most traveled highways – Interstate 70 running east-west and Interstate 75 traveling north-south. This strategic location makes our communities some of the most competitive locations for companies wanting to reach a large population or customer network by ground, air or rail.We have technology, and we know how to use it. The region is home to one of the country’s largest clusters of automotive industry employment outside of Detroit and includes an international roster of players including German auto parts manufacturer, Behr America; D-MAX, maker of the award-winning Duramax diesel engine; Delphi Automotive Systems, parts manufacturer to the world; General Motors and its most productive North American truck plant; and Honda, who manufacturers a broad-range of cars, vans and motorcycles.

The region is home to Wright Patterson Air Force Base, the state’s largest single-site employer with more than 20,000 enlisted and civilian employees.
